The City of Sterling Heights is located in the southwest portion of Macomb County and sits roughly 23 miles north of Detroit. Sterling Heights started as a farming community in the early 1800s because of its rich soil and easy fishing in the Clinton River. From there, it went through some name changes and incorporation attempts until it finally became the City of Sterling Heights in 1968.
Sterling Heights is a city with a population of over 129,000 people that frequently ranks as the safest city in Michigan with a population greater than 100,000 people. It’s also Michigan’s fourth largest city.
Sterling Heights has a variety of beautiful parks that its residents enjoy. Dodge Park, for instance, offers it guests scenic walking trails, an outdoor concert stage, a sand volleyball court, a roller hockey rink, and beautiful picnic areas. Dodge Park is a popular place to be on a nice summer day.

The above photo is of a white Sterling Heights style kitchen remodel. We removed decorative wood beams on the ceiling and replaced them with drywall. We also added new recessed lights, replaced the old flooring, and installed new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and appliances. The homeowners are absolutely in love with their new kitchen.

The photo that follows is of a large Sterling Heights style master bathroom remodel. This was the first of two projects that the homeowner did with us. We rearranged the layout of the bathroom and tore everything out. After that, we installed a new tub and tub deck that extends into the shower to act as a shower seat. We then installed a new vanity and vanity top. The bathroom was exactly what the homeowner was looking for.
